Devoted Runners Return
It was another outstanding turnout for the 8th Annual Glenholme 5K Run for Autism. After a year hiatus we welcomed back over 170 runners and walkers together at Steep Rock Preserve in Washington, Connecticut. The event, which is one of the few canine-friendly courses, was renowned as a triumph, raising over $6,000!
“It was wonderful to see so many Glenholme families, friends and community members alike come together; after such a trying time in our world, to just cheer each other on, all while supporting our students and our mission.”– Courtney Delaney, Director of Development.
Congratulations to all of the runners, walkers and their canine companions. The complete race results can be found at http://fasttracktiming.com/results/
An extra special shout-out to Devereux Connecticut’s own E3 Transition program; these young adults volunteered their time on Sunday to assist with setup, parking, check-in and clean up – it was truly a community event!
Many thanks to our wonderful race sponsors, who helped to make the event a huge success.
