Staff wows students at annual talent show
The Glenholme School held its 4th Annual Staff Talent Show on Wednesday, February 25, and the show was a treat for students and faculty alike. Master of Ceremonies Ms. Therault kept the crowd entertained between acts, accompanied by her diminutive sidekick, Toby and the crowd was treated to a wide range of performances including:
- Mr. DeLong singing the title song from On a Clear Day You Can See Forever
- Ms. Tornello performing an amazing aria from the opera Madama Butterfly
- A heel-slapping, hat-tossing version of the country song "Something More" by Ms. Perssonatti
- A brilliant set-piece act by Ms. Ruhf and Ms. Zampaglione
- Smoky jazz-house blues numbers sung by both Ms. Stevens ("At Last") and Ms. Bennison ("Cold, Cold Heart")
- A moving new acoustic song by Mr. Johnson
- A great break-dancing performance by Mr. O'Connell
- An encore performance of sorts by Mr. Toy of "If I Were a Rich Man" from Fiddler on the Roof complete with old-world style dancing
- And for a grande finale: an inspired performance re-creating "The Evolution of Dance" by Ms. Baccash, Ms. Crespan, Mr. DeLong, Ms. Gros, Ms. Guilfoile, Mr. Kepics, Mr. Morehouse, Mr. O'Connell, Ms. Perssonatti, Ms. Rubenzahl and Ms. Zenowich
All in all, some truly excellent performances by Glenholme's very talented staff!
