Mardi Gras: Glenholme's First Prom
The students of Glenholme celebrated their first prom, with a Madri Gras theme, on Saturday, June 13, and it was a night to remember.
The girls spent the morning engaged in head-to-toe primping in preparation for the evening and dazzled the parents who greeted them at the pre-prom reception in the Glenholme Music Room. This special moment gave everyone the opportunity to see the spectacular couples and classmates in dapper tuxedos and glamorous gowns, snap a few keepsake moments and wave a fond farewell to the court of companions as they headed into the limo.
The Washington Club, decorated in Mardi Gras style favors, masks of gold and glittering candles, greeted the party-goes. The festivities included a three course meal, plenty of dancing, some exciting candid prop-filled photos and the crowning of Glenholme’s first Prom King and Queen: Creighton Hudson and Rachel Jacobson.
Upon their return to campus, the party-goers enjoyed a post-prom nightcap of hot chocolate in the Commons before returning to their cottages.
