Sections 6 & 7 to shoot "Hoops of Hope"

Sections 6 & 7 will be hosting a "Hoops of Hope" fundraiser the week of December 1. Hoops of Hope is the world’s largest free-throw marathon.

Similar to a walk-a-thon, participants raise awareness and funds for children who have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS by shooting free throws. 100% of all funds raised through the free throw marathons go directly to care for orphan children in highly affected areas. This year, participants from all over the world, will shoot thousands of free throws to represent the thousands of kids orphaned each day. They will be raising money to build a medical clinic in Chilala, Zambia, provide 450 bicycles and 750 mosquito nets to AIDS Caregivers in Sinazongwe, Zambia, build dormitories for the Jonathan Sim Legacy School in Twachiyanda, Zambia and build 10 care centers in Swaziland.

The students of sections 6 & 7 are looking for supporters/sponors to help them raise money for this worthwhile event that will leave an impact not only on the lives of the kids they're helping, but on the school community as well.
