Students participate in national juried art contest

Seven Glenholme students: Joe E, Rebecca D, Angela D, Mike F, Michelle P, Nico P and Eric R are submitting their artwork to Accelerate, a national juried arts competition for young artists with disabilities, sponsored by VSA arts and Volkswagen.

The theme of the contest is Accelerate: How does art propel your success and provide you freedom of expression? As an artist, what sets you in motion—and how do you fuel your imagination? Each student submitted four examples of their work, along with an artist's statement that describes their artistic journey. These creative students are a great representation of the abundant artistic talent here at Glenholme. Wish them luck.
