WASHINGTON, CT (March 29, 2004) - On Saturday, March 20th seven students from the Devereux Glenholme School competed in the Odyssey of the Mind State Tournament in Hartford, Connecticut. Odyssey of the Mind (OM) is an international creative problem solving competition, where teams from around the world participate in tournaments that exhibit their creative abilities.

The students of Glenholme unveiled months of work showcasing elaborate teamwork, planning, creativity and artwork. Glenholme students demonstrated a unique solution to Odyssey of the Mind's "Fantastic Art" problem. "The performance went very well and the judges seemed very impressed with our students' story line," said Art Teacher Jess Creter. " We look forward to attending the competition next year."

The Devereux Glenholme School continuously seeks innovative projects using the Arts to draw on each child's imagination. Odyssey of the Mind's unique program enables teachers to generate excitement in the students and allows them to identify challenges and think creatively in solving problems.
