Grizzlies Softball: Another Phenomenal Effort

In May,  the Glenholme Grizzlies softball team traveled to Amenia, New York to face the athletic dynamos of Maplebrook School. Although the team got off to a rough start, the Grizzlies managed to claw their way from a 1-6 deficit to tie up the score in the bottom of the 9th and force the game into extra innings.

While all players demonstrated exceptional effort and sportsmanship, several Grizzlies had a stand out game. Ben, a star shortstop, was fast on his feet and made some crucial third outs to close the innings. Nick pitched eight innings and had several strikeouts, along with a few RBIs. Mark and Griffin each hit a triple while up to bat, Amy earned an RBI, and Hunter premiered as catcher, making some amazing plays at the plate.

Great job, Grizzlies!
