In 1968, the gift of Glenholme was given to the Devereux Foundation in the form of the buildings and property in Washington, CT. Since that time, families, neighbors, foundations and corporations have helped to provide individualized education and treatment to students with special needs through their financial gifts.
Ways to Give
Our mission is to advance the school's mission and program offerings to provide students with special needs the opportunities and experiences that guide them to a fulfilling and happy adulthood, both socially and academically.

Glenholme Annual Fund
The foundation of all our fundraising efforts is the Glenholme Annual Fund. This fund is the primary source of unrestricted gifts allocated for the operations of the school. These gifts support current educational programs, research and creation of new programs, faculty development, and maintenance of facilities. Funds are allocated to the most critical needs throughout the year. Gifts to the Glenholme Annual Fund offset expenses not covered by tuition or endowment income. These gifts immediately benefit Glenholme and our students. |

Capital Giving - Center for the Arts
The Center for the Arts will become home to our theatre, art, dance, and music programs. In addition, it will serve as the one venue on campus with ample space to accommodate the large events and performances in a truly authentic setting. Plans include a 199- seat proscenium theatre including back stage, classrooms, music practice rooms, costume workshop space, art exhibition lobby, and faculty offices. Students experience the life changing power of the arts when they engage in art, music, dance and drama. |

Endowment
Gifts to the endowment fund ensure the future of Glenholme. These gifts provide financial stability, long range planning and continuity in proven educational excellence. The Alfred W. Van Sinderen Endowment Fund was established in 1999 to provide long term financial stability. This permanent capital fund provides planned financial resources year to year. Gifts to this fund provide student financial aid, funding for special programs and faculty support, as well as building and grounds preservation and improvement. |

Planned Giving
Planned Giving is a process by which donors discuss and determine the most beneficial way to make a major gift along with identifying the proper asset to fund the gift. Planned gifts provide attractive tax advantages along with the satisfaction of advancing Glenholme's mission.
